Description:

Client wanted to know wave heights that could be encountered in Atlantic ocean near a site under consideration for boating. Client provided data from from buoy operated by NOAA with publicly available data in text format with over a 500,000 data points

This data was parsed and through our data analysis, we provided the client we detailed insight into the wave heights that have been observed. We broke out all the collected data into monthly data and provided probabilities of wave height that could be encountered helping the client make informed design and operational decision to make an efficient design and smart choices.
